Lobby Day 2016

By UPW State Director Dayton Nakanelua; Members came together at the State Capitol to lobby their legislature on behalf of HHSC Maui Region members affected by the privatization there. They asked the legislature to address resulting issues in the region and throughout the state.

Saving the Eddie, and saving lives means saving Wahiawa General Hospital!

Wahiawa General Hospital is in danger of closing if they don't receive assistance. They are asking the State for $6 million dollars over the next two years. UPW members join their fellow coworkers in lobbying the State for this money.
